CLEAN SHOREBREAK FOR SATURDAY SESSION

Another Saturday session in the books! Very clean conditions early, at least until the creek “broke”.
Conditions: 3 to 4 feet shorebreak, no wind, good slope and perfect tide.
We saw family team riders Paul Carey, Chance Boyer, Johnny Salta and more riders. There even were some barrel opportunities for the biggest sets that rolled in. Saturday Session’s host Tex Haines captured the fun on film (Or SD cards we shall say more accurately now). Once the creek “broke” it inevitably turned the shorebreak into a much less welcoming playground. Some took advantage of it to play in the artificial wave created by the sand. You can find some more information about the Aliso Creek in our recent post where Tex was interviewed by the Laguna Beach Magazine about this topic.

Join us if you can sometime for a Saturday Session! It is free, founder of Victoria Skimboards and skimboarding legend Tex Haines brings free coffee and donuts for all, and even brings extra boards to try, shoot pictures and gives great advices! It is every Saturday at 10am, the location varies depending on the swell and weather conditions, but we post the location on our social medias @victoriaskimboards the day before.

Here are some of this past Saturday action captured by Tex

We hope to see you there next week!
